The importance of ‘me’ time

Everyone loves having some time to themselves to do as they please whether that be having a relaxing bubble bath or reading a favourite book. Most often we neglect spending time doing something relaxing as we have such busy schedules ‘me’ time is often out of the equation. But having time to relax gives our mind a break, allows us to unwind and forget about our worries. It benefits us both mentally and physically, allowing our bodies to rest for a short while. Often when trying to reach a goal or milestone in our lives we are so focused on that goal that we don’t stop trying to achieve it, now sometimes it’s good to be so focused on our goal but allowing your body to rest helps recuperate and gather our thoughts. Productivity and motivation will be increased if we spend some time away from our goal. It doesn’t have to be a long break but you will benefit from it! So make sure you schedule in some ‘me’ time!
